Mixture of three seaweeds with different flavours. The fine, cartilaginous texture of sea lettuce and nori combines with the slightly crunchy and meaty texture of wakame. Low fat content. High in fibre. Source of protein.

Seaweed harvested by hand in its natural environment on the Galician coast (Bay of Biscay and Portuguese waters).

Uses in cooking
Natural: In salads (hydrated or blanched).

Roasted: Baked and crushed in a mortar as a condiment.

Boiled: In soups, creams, croquettes, scrambled eggs, stews and pies. As a garnish in fish or seafood dishes. As an ingredient in rice or pasta dishes.

About the producer

PORTO-MUIÑOS is a family business. Antonio and Rosa Mirás, his wife, started marketing seaweed in 1998. In the early years they processed them to sell them in dehydrated and canned form. Nowadays you can also find their products in powdered, salted and fresh form, the latter being very successful. Their seaweed is distributed throughout Spain and in different countries on five continents. Antonio and Rosa base the success of their company on the study and dissemination of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed.This small cannery also dedicates space and time to the production of other products from the sea of Galicia, delicate preserves of sea urchin roe, monkfish liver whose flavour and texture have been highly rated by specialists, mussels with seaweed, seaweed infusions, wheat semolina pasta with seaweed and other products with all the flavour and richness of the Atlantic.
